I am wondering if their is any way, I can get a substidized cost to attend, I am a single mother starting my own business, would love to attend with my daughters to enrich our of our knowledge but unfortunately cannot afford it, are there any ways of assisting.

As a director of Alliance for the Defence of Canadian Sovereignty (http://www.adcs-adsc.ca/) and an advocate for US Persons in Canada who will be affected by the implementation of FATCA, I would like more information on which of your sessions will deal with CANADIANSOVEREIGNTY. (Time constraints do not allow me to attend the entire event.)
The Foreign Account Taxation Compliance Act (FATCA) intergovernmental agreement that Canada negotiated and signed with the US and legislated in omnibus Bill C-31 (and deputized Canadian foreign financial institutions and the Canada Revenue Agency as arms of the IRS) came into effect on July 1, 2014. There was previous little media notice for average Canadians, US Persons in Canada (many born in Canada to US parents but who have never lived or had any benefit from the US OR born to Canadian parents in the US but who returned to Canada with their parents as infants or young children) or anyone concerned with Canadian sovereignty. Canadian Charter Rights of approximately one million so-called US Persons in Canada, their spouses, their children, their business partners thereby waived. US Persons in Canada became second class to any other Canadians no matter where their national origin or the origin of their parents.
Many from Canada’s aboriginal community will be affected by this as well.
